The Kelly Gang Unmasked is the title of a book by
Ian MacFarlane, published in Australia in 2012. It is a brilliant book because
even though it is not a big book, it touches on just about every aspect of the
Kelly story and is backed up by tons of research and cross references that give
it the stamp of authority. It was a revelation to read for the first time,
because it challenged the Kelly story at so many points, and in such a
clear-sighted and incisive way that I realised the Kelly story, as it is
popularly understood, is mostly misunderstood.
This is a MUST READ for anyone with an objective interest in the Kelly story.
